Marc Goddard

Marine (Ret'd) - Royal Marines

Marc was injured after his 'Viking' armoured vehicle struck an improved explosive device whilst on patrol in Afghanistan. Testament to his character, he had only recently completed a 6-month tour of the country, however volunteered to return as a replacement.

The injuries Marc sustained in the blast were significant and complex including burns to 25% of his body.

He joined the charity in January 2016 and has at the time of writing completed his private pilot's license (helicopters), approximately 60 hours of flight time and is well underway with his commercial pilot's theory exams.
